Tranzformation Reentry Project (TRP) will collaborate with the local County Sheriff Departments (Detention Facilities), Mississippi Department of Corrections and Federal Bureau of Prisons to receive referrals of released individuals or those that are about to be released. TRP will also collaborate with faith-based organizations and other stake holders that can provide services to the participants. TRP participants will be provided a mentor to coach them as they transition.

Tranzformation Reentry Project’s personnel will provide basic life/communication skills for participants before they are sent out into society seeking employment. Training can last up to 2 months, depending on the individual’s need.

SERVICES

The target group for Tranzformation Reentry Project must be 18 years of age and older and must have been released from prison 3 years or less. Three years were chosen because  research data suggest that one-third of offenders will return to prison within the first 3 years of their release date.
Tranzformation Reentry Project will take referrals for non-violent returning citizens that have been convicted of at least on felony. Referrals will be accepted from the judicial system which consist of the parole and probation officers, MS Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Prisons, County Sheriff Departments that may be housing a convicted felon, judges, and self-referrals.
As a 501 (c)(3), Tranzformation Reentry Project does accept tax-deductible donation that will help us expand our services, take on more participants, and strengthen our community from the inside-out. Your gift will help bring families together and change the course of people's lives.  If you have a desire to give, please do not hesitate to contact TRP.
